	Short Biography Maria Liampa is a qualified Midwife, having completed her foundational studies in Larissa and higher education at the Technological Educational Institute of Midwifery. During her academic journey, she attended workshops and seminars on breastfeeding and prenatal care, while her thesis focused on the socially significant and sensitive topic of adolescent pregnancy. She has many years of experience in midwifery, having trained and worked in both public hospitals and private clinics and maternity hospitals. During her practical training at Chalkida General Hospital (2007), she actively participated in 40 normal deliveries, gaining a solid foundation in clinical practice and care for both the mother and the newborn. From 01/07/2008 to 10/12/2010, she worked as a midwife in an obstetrics–gynecology clinic, participating in the doctor’s deliveries and specialized prenatal procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), gaining experience in demanding and high-responsibility cases. From 11/12/2010 to 31/06/2020, she worked at REA Clinic, initially on the maternity ward and from 03/2018 to 06/2020 in the Delivery Room, providing comprehensive care to women before, during, and after childbirth. Daily interaction with pregnant women enhanced both her clinical expertise and her human, supportive approach, which she considers a fundamental part of her practice. From 01/07/2020 to 31/08/2024, she worked in a gynecology clinic, where she trained in Medically Assisted Reproduction, supporting women and couples at every stage of the process with discretion, scientific knowledge, and respect for their needs. She speaks English (Cambridge Lower) and remains committed to continuous education and the provision of personalized, responsible, and compassionate care.
